HOW TO AVOID MAKING A MISTAKE WHEN CHOOSING A RUSSIAN WIFE
Maybe you are the one who is attracted to a number of women. How do you choose from among the flowers?
Many men are naturally attracted to the most stunning looking women.
You may find yourself behaving in this manner consciously or
unconsciously. Just remember that you are looking for a wife to share
your life with you when you get home.
You are looking for a woman with whom you can make a marriage work. A
drop dead gorgeous twenty-year-old super model may make your friends
jealous, but you are talking about high maintenance.
Forgive the automobile analogy, but unless you can afford to keep a
Ferrari in your garage, you may want to stick with a more serviceable
model. You are going to look ridiculous driving around your small town
in Iowa in a Ferrari.
The classic symptoms of male menopause are that you take your usual
logical reasonable self and cast all caution to the wind. You realize
that half your life is over and you really want to live the second half
to the fullest.
You buy that sports car; you get the hair transplant or dye the gray;
you decide to do all the things you put off up to this point in your
life as a good citizen.
That's great! But instead of reckless abandon, why not get a reality
check from your friends and support group. They will give you an honest
appraisal of your assets and liabilities.
If you are on a tour, ask the other men you are traveling with to give you their honest appraisal.
If you are on your own and you are using the services of a marriage
agency, ask the personnel at the agency to give you their honest
appraisal.
Sometimes others can see what you cannot.
Try to keep from buying the Ferrari on your postman’s income. You know
what high maintenance is. Ask yourself what you can afford and what you
cannot.
Take a serious look at who you are, what you have to offer, and what
kind of resources you have available to you. One complaint I have heard
repeatedly from women of the CIS countries is that western men
sometimes exaggerate what they have to offer and make promises they
don't keep.
Don't tell her that you're a high roller on your government employee's
salary. Don't tell her that Fresno is a major cultural center of
California. Don't promise her an expensive wedding or a honeymoon if
you aren't going to keep your promise.
When she pulls into your driveway, it will be apparent to her that your
home is not a Malibu beach house (unless, of course, it is). If you are
an average guy with an average income, she will find out within one
week of arriving in your country.
Most of the Russian women, who are looking to meet western men, are looking for an average guy.
You wonder, how can this beautiful, intelligent woman be interested in
me? She is thinking the same thing. How could this successful American
businessman be interested in me?
She is afraid that you will leave her for a younger, prettier woman when you get bored with her.
If you are too handsome, or too rich, or too successful, she may think
that you will leave her when you grow bored with her. Many of the
reasons Russian women marry older western men is that they think that
they are wiser, more financially secure, and will remain faithful to
them.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being average. Level with her.
She will appreciate your honesty. She will probably be thinking of ways
for her to help you so that can both have a better family life.
A woman thirty years younger may look great on your arm, but is she
going to be content with your lifestyle? A young immature girl of
twenty is immature no matter where she is from.
If these considerations are not relevant to your situation, then maybe
you have not spent enough time with the women you have met to be able
to recognize which is ‘the one.’
Spend more time with each special woman, until one begins to stand out.
If one doesn’t stand out after a period of time, maybe you need to
widen your selection again and date more women.
The last thing you want to do is ‘settle’ for a woman that you aren’t
enamored with. Go back to the well and keep drawing water. Keep looking
until you find her. Don’t worry, eventually you will.
